The seawall walk was such a pleasure

Here's Jer heading west on the way to Granville Island

I love the boats moored in the marina along the way

and their reflections in the water

The view across to the opposite shore was gorgeous

There's always a crane somewhere on the horizon.

Here's a view from shore to shore

Granville Island is always a favourite stop. It's under the south end of the Granville Street Bridge directly across from the downtown Vancouver peninsula. There's a water taxi just leaving on the left.

Granville Island was once an industrial manufacturing area.
It is still home to Inland Cement works

The Granville Island Farmers Market

and the Emily Carr Institute of Fine Art

Stores selling every craft imaginable

Marine supplies, even boats

There are houseboats just east of the college

There's always someone waiting for a snack

as well as a few of her cousins
